POLLY MONEY is about mischievous melodies, swoon-inducing guitar work and poignant stories fuse together to create Polly Money’s sound. The Cornwall-come-London artist has opened for Muse, supported Gabrielle and represented BBC introducing at Glastonbury. Add a place on the main stage at Isle of Wight Festival's 2016 bill and you’ve got the long and short of just how far she has come already!
CHRIS THOMAS is a full time solo acoustic guitar/vocalist with masses of experience under his belt. Formerly he has played with local bands Dr Frank, Woodhuish and Starskey. Chris promises a dynamic selection of covers from over seven decades of music!
3BF Locally this band are an extremely popular Pop, Rock, Indie group. They play acoustic covers and are regulars on the local music scene. They are regulars on the Occombe stage too!
THE WONDERSMITHS are a unique indie rock band from Luton and London, signed to Bermondsey record label, The Animal Farm. They have supported the Maccabees, Bloc Party and GroupLove. In 2017 their track ‘Stanley (What's the plan?)' was selected as a BBC Introducing ‘track of the week’, and played on national television (This Morning, ITV). They are also an experienced festival band and played at The Great Escape (Brighton), Amp Rocks (Bedford), and Nightmare on Camden High Street (London) in recent years.
HARBOUR are back! Harbour is a locally well-loved four piece band that plays many different genres of music and features four incredibly talented musicians. They promise to perform some of the best renditions of songs both old to new and lift those barn roofs off the rafters!
FLIGHT BRIGADE A super talented seven-strong band, performing powerful original songs as if they were epic stories. In their words “their explosive live show feels like it’s their last day on earth, ‘as if Arcade Fire had a face-off with Fleetwood Mac and then Renaissance came in for the kill” Wow! Their musical résumé is extensive: Glastonbury, Bestival, Beautiful days; Time Out’s rising stars in 2016; Radio X, BBC Radio 2 and 6 and BBC Introducing; backing for Made in Chelsea and Sunday Brunch and the list goes on…..Phew!
RIVIERA DOGS are a local 5 piece band based delivering a polished mix of memorable hits and movie tunes from the 80s & 90s! Their ethos: to play the music that we loved in our teens, to tackle some more difficult stuff; not the easy ones, not the obvious ones, but the ones that will make you go "oh, I remember this...." Hits guarenteed to get us all up and jumping! A fantastic finalle!
